Services
Transpersonal Hypnosis with Annie Upper uses a guided meditation that creates deep physical & conscious-mind relaxation, while enhancing the focus of the sub-conscious mind--a very natural state of relaxation. You have a heightened responsiveness to an idea, image or suggestion, which are all based on your personal goals. You are fully aware of what is happening at all times.
Sometimes there is a need to understand why a behavior exists before you can change it. This can relate to a situation in the past from which an old response carries over unintentionally to current circumstances. If this is determined to be the case, Annie will guide you to remember the event that led to the first reaction, separate the memory from the learned response, and recreate the event with new, healthier associations.
Most people are naturally receptive to hypnosis as long as they are motivated to do so, and are working with an experienced and credentialed Hypnotist.
Transpersonal Hypnosis can help clients work with synergistic energies of the mind, body and spirit. There is no religious orientation involved, but rather guidance that supports clients with their own unique spiritual path. It can assist with:
Life Purpose, Core Beliefs
Stress Management, Anxiety, Self Esteem, Relaxation
Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation, Memory Loss
Negative Habits/Behaviors/Attitudes,Fears
Grief Management
Athletic/Music/Test Performance
Prepare for Surgery and a Faster, More Profound Recovery

Yoga Therapy with Barbara Newell is the application of Yoga practices to assist individuals with improving their health physically, emotionally, spiritually, physiologically and/or mentally. These areas relate to the classical Yoga model, which identifies five dimensions to the human being. All are interrelated, and if one is compromised, all are compromised. Clients can benefit greatly from this holistic, multi-dimensional approach.
Barbara works with clients one-on-one. This enables her to focus entirely on each client's specific needs. Clients will learn poses, breathing techniques, stretches and meditations which are individually customized to each person's abilities, needs and goals for health and well-being. Clients will leave each session with instructions on practices to be followed at home, between Yoga Therapy sessions. These will change each week according to the client's progress.
Yoga Therapy encompasses the whole person. Usually there is more involved in a problem than the symptoms might indicate. A physical ailment may be directly related to an emotional or spiritual response or experience, just as a mental or emotional challenge may have ties to a physical or physiological condition. It can assist with:
Introduction to Safe Yoga
Back/Shoulder/Neck/Hip Pain, Sciatica
Chronic Pain/Fibromyalgia
Sports Performance & Injuries
Anxiety, Depression, Stress, High Blood Pressure
Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Improved Posture
Improved Sleep
Easing Parkinson's & Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms
